Our Mission

LifeSteward Ministries transforms and empowers leaders and ministries for growth and restoration to advance the Kingdom.

Our History

1989 Founded by Arthur Ellison as Alternatives Group to consult life-affirming ministries.

2000 Hosted 2 prayer summits for leaders to seek the Lord’s presence in an uninterrupted time away from their ministries.

2002 The summits emerged into an annual renewal encounter named Living Waters as we embraced and began to practice and steward a paradigm of leadership for ministries and leaders we call Presence-Based Leadership.

2004 The ministry begins to provide services at no cost internationally and has served 8 countries with 20 on-site trainings.

2006 Alternatives Group makes a name change to LifeSteward Ministries and established a micro-enterprise division LifeSteward Printing.

2009 We redefined and expanded our mission statement to arenas outside the life movement to serve an even greater constituency of Kingdom builders!

1989~2012 We have conducted 1,400 ministry consultations, given away 281 scholarships totaling $180,000 and helped raise over $34 million in 1st year events.

Presence-Based Leadership has become the unifying theme of LifeSteward Ministries!
